ROHN PRM6MAT Protective Rubber Mat for PRM6 Roof Mount
A Protective Layer between the Roof Surface and the Non-Penetrating Roof Mount before Installation. This 1/8 thick Mat places underneath the Frame of a PRM6 Non-Penetrating mount, laid directly upon the roof surface to protect the roof from marring and gouging from the bottom of the Base of the Non-Penetrating Mount steel rail components.

This Non-Penetrating Mount Protective Rubber Mat layer installs under the Steel Framework of the Non-Penetrating Satellite Dish Roof Mount and the Ballast that would keep the Mount and Antenna on target with minimal deviation and flex. As with all Ballast mounts, Structural Engineering consultations are recommended for all Roof Applications.

Non-Pen Antenna and Dish Roof Mount Protective Rubber Barrier Pads and Mats

As Non-Penetrating Roof Mount Kits come in various Foot Print, Size and Weight configurations, so too are the Pad and Mat Kits that correspond with them. The Mats / Pads contained in the Kits differ in the Length, Width and Thickness needed to be laid in a pattern configuration that matches the Footprint of the Non-Penetrating Roof Mount

The Mats and Pads are intregal in providing three functions for maintaining your Non-Penetrating Roof Mount orientation and position:

  • An appropriately thick Pad provides a cushion barrier for the roof mount steel frame to equalize minor level changes along the length of the load bearing lower frame rails that contain the ballast to prevent the formation of radically unequal pressure points transferred upon or by the roof's surface layer.
  • The Pad allows for minor deviations in temperature and wind forces to be absorbed without deformation of the roof or Mount Frame rails that also minimize any deviations in plumb of the mast itself; keeping your antennas aligned.
  • Both Pad and Mat, regardless of thickness, provide an equally tractionable surface on both sides to present a formidible resistance to counter skidding and/or sliding in rain and wind with ballast increasing the grip upon both frame rails and roof.
